Fort Worth, Texas – March 9, 2011 – Studios 121 attended the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and Mayor’s luncheon as a finalist for Fort Worth’s Small Business Award on February 23rd. While there, US Congressman Michael C. Burgess surprised the company with a “Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for Outstanding and Invaluable Service to the Community.” Congressman Burgess stated that the citation was read into the U.S. Congressional Record in Washington, D.C. The company was also given an American flag that was flown at the U.S. Capital. Michael Fletcher, Studios 121 chief executive officer, was touched and commented, “There is no honor greater for me than to have Studios 121 recognized by our country’s leaders. I love America and everything we stand for and it’s humbling to serve our local community and have Congress recognize that service.”
Then, at the American Advertising Federation’s Fort Worth (AAF-FW) annual ADDY® Gala on February 26th, Studios 121 received top honor by winning a Gold ADDY, for their “R2G” National TV Campaign for one of its large clients, ComStar Media.
The “R2G” concept edits R-rated movies and transforms them to suitable family viewing on ComStar’s national cable television networks, FamilyNetHD and ALN.
